Alexandria, KY (May 10, 2022) - The first match in Valley Division history will kickoff on Tuesday night, as Kings Hammer FC host Fort Wayne FC in the newly created division for the 2022 USL League Two season. Previous members of the Great Lakes Division, the new division brings the two clubs back together to face each other three times in 2022.

In the single matchup in 2021, Kings Hammer FC beat Fort Wayne FC 3-1. The late-season matchup and win was integral in KHFC's push to get into the postseason in their inaugural season. Heading into the match, Fort Wayne only lost twice in their previous five matches and was looking to knock off KHFC. From the only matchup in the history, KHFC is returning eight players that played in the 2021 match.

Fort Wayne notched the first goal in the match in 2021. It took a late first-half equalizer to get KHFC back on track, then two late second half goals sealed the victory for Kings Hammer. This was the story for the 2021 season for KHFC, and one that Fort Wayne will be doing their job to prevent Kings Hammer from repeating.

Notable players: 
Kings Hammer FC - A core group of 15 players return to the Club after a debut season that took the team to a postseason appearance. The team went 8-4-2 (W-D-L) in the inaugural season in 2021, and will look to build off that success.

Fort Wayne FC - A club with big hopes in moving professional in the near future, FWFC is looking to build on their inaugural 2021 USL2 season.
