Fort Wayne, IN (May 15, 2022) - A quick return matchup between Fort Wayne FC and Kings Hammer FC is slated for an afternoon kickoff on Sunday May 15. The two faced off to open the season on May 10, which went in Fort Wayne's favor as they made the trip to the MAC and knocked off hosting KHFC. The 3:00pm kickoff will be the second match for each club already this early in the season, and will leave the two clubs to face off one more time this summer.

With the Valley Division competition just starting off last week, teams will be looking to capitalize on each match as only the Valley Division winner moves on to postseason play. A tie-breaker scenario can come into play if KHFC were unable to grab valuable points in Fort Wayne, which Fort Wayne has an advantage already grabbing three points at KHFC. While the first match was a low-scoring affair, there was a lot of action -  including six yellow cards.

Goalkeeping was a highlight in the first match, as the two goalkeepers combined for 11 saves. It took a rebound goal for Fort Wayne to come away with the 1-0 win, and still some late heroics to preserve the victory. The all time series is 1-1-0, with a 4-2 goal differential in favor of KHFC. This match will be the first to be played in Fort Wayne.

Sam Robinson (KHFC) - Created several chances for KHFC in the first match. Tied for team lead in shots (2). 

Mikkel Gøling (KHFC) - Attacking midfielder also tied for team lead in shots (2). 

Forster Ajago (FWFC) - Big, athletic, and troublesome attacker. Appeared in the first match, coming in to play 34 minutes, led team in shots and scored game-winning goal.
