Alexandria, KY (June 10, 2022) - After a long time away, Kings Hammer FC is back at home for a USL W League match on Sunday June 12 at 3:00pm. Kalamazoo FC will be the foes as the Mustang Athletic Complex will welcome the first KHFC match since May 22. Both teams are aiming to do some climbing as they occupy the bottom two spots in the Great Lakes Division.

Kalamazoo FC has not started how they had hoped, but it is not because Bailey Korhorn is not doing her job. The Kzoo forward leads the club in almost every statistical category and is one of the top goalscorers in USL W League. A transfer from the University of Cincinnati, Korhorn will look to lead Kzoo into KHFC territory to grab points. Kalamazoo started the season hot, with a draw and a win, but has since dropped three straight matches.

Kings Hammer FC look to ride a thrilling result in Detroit, that left a slightly bitter taste in KHFC's mouth as a 90+5 equalizer for Detroit resulted in a 2-2 draw instead of a hopeful 2-1 win for Kings Hammer. The gritty draw saw seven new players debut for KHFC and three players earn their first points for the club, one goal each for Olga Massombo and Annie Greene, plus an assist for Kenzie Schneeman. Being back home will be the theme of the second half of the season for KHFC as four of the last six matches are at the MAC.

The second match between the two will be KHFC's regular season finale, at Kalamazoo on July 9.

Notable players:
Jordyn Rhodes (KHFC) - Featured as a "15 Players to Watch" by USL W League; an upcoming senior forward at the University of Kentucky. Rhodes is leads team in shots (15). Rhodes is one of two players to play every minute this season (540).

Lilly Yordy (KHFC) - A redshirt freshman at the University of Louisville, Yordy has played every minute this season (540) as an anchor on the defensive line. Yordy earned a spot on the USLW's May Team of the Month.

Bailey Korhorn (KFC) - The Western Michigan forward leads Kalamazoo in goals (4), points (8), shots (14), and minutes played (363).
