Cincinnati, OH (June 13, 2023) - At the halfway point of the season, Kings Hammer FC are off to a 1-1-3 start, with the second of three battles against Racing Louisville in the midst. A new kickoff time for Wednesday's match at Racing Louisville will see KHFC travel to their training complex for a 5:00pm kickoff, which has changed two times to accommodate Racing's busy summer schedule. Racing won the first match, then will travel to KHFC for the season finale on June 29.

Racing Louisville has a 2-0-1 advantage in the head-to-head matchups against KHFC in the two seasons of USL W League play. The 2022 home finale saw KHFC prevail 4-2 to avenge an earlier season loss to Racing. Racing currently sits second in the Valley Division with a 4-1-1 record, just three points back of division leaders Indy Eleven.

Kings Hammer FC are coming off a long away trip where they saw a 0-0 draw at St. Charles FC on Saturday 6/10. The shutout was KHFC's first defensive shutout of the season, which matches 2022's total. Jasmine Rehberger and Mickayla Kowalski each played a half to preserve the shutout. A win for KHFC could move the club into 3rd in the Valley Division.

The KHFC women will play again on Sunday June 18, away to Indy Eleven. To finish the 2023 regular season, the women will have three straight home matches at Xavier University's Corcoran Field (tickets).

Notable players:
Reese Carpenter (KHFC) - The Xavier University midfielder is fourth on the team in minutes played (315).

Ellie Lanyi (KHFC) - The University of Alabama goalkeeper looks to continue a strong defensive presence leading the KHFC team between the pipes.

Sydney Rhodes (KHFC) - Rhodes has tallied one goal in 2023, and looks to add to that total on Wednesday. Rhodes plays at Thomas More University and is in her second season with KHFC.

Match Details:
