Cincinnati, OH (June 16, 2023) - Possibly a must-win for Kings Hammer FC, the local rivalry will surely bring excitement to the Valley Division on Saturday June 17. Dayton Dutch Lions will host KHFC for the Saturday night match at DOC Stadium at West Carrollton High School, kickoff at 7:00pm. Dayton is seeking their first win, while a win can propel KHFC into 2nd place in the Valley Division.

Dayton Dutch Lions came up just shy in the first match of three between the two clubs, a 2-1 loss on Friday June 9 at Corcoran Field had KHFC come out on top. Dayton has a draw on the season, which came at home in a 0-0 shutout of the top team in Fort Wayne FC. The longest-tenured USL2 team in the Valley Division, Dayton has hit a slump but has competed strong against KHFC each of the last three seasons.

In the last five matches, Kings Hammer FC have only managed one win in USL2 play. Three draws and a loss included in that span, the lone win was against Dayton. With five matches left in the season, a win is needed to keep pace with Toledo Villa and Fort Wayne, as both are in the top two positions in the Valley Division currently. Cleveland Force are just a point back from KHFC, and they will continue to be major players in how the Division will finish.

Kings Hammer FC will play back at home on Friday July 7 against Toledo Villa FC. The remainder of June will have the Kings Hammer USLW side have three home matches to conclude their season: Tuesday June 20, Sunday June 25, and Thursday June 29.

Notable players:
Brock Kiper (KHFC) - The first-year KHFC member, Kiper has scored the last four goals for the club. A Belmont University forward, Kiper played club locally and at Moeller High School. Kiper's four consecutive goals are a club record by one player.

Marcello Jones (KHFC) - Jones is a staple for notable players, as he is tops in nearly every offensive category for the Club's short three-year history. Jones is second on the team in goals scored (2).

Roberto Burlew (KHFC) - Burlew has scored one goal so far this season. The versatile defender finds himself in the attack on the regular, but will look to sharpen up the KHFC defense as they have yet to produce a shutout in 2023.

Match Details:
Saturday June 17 - 7:00pm ET - DOC Stadium
