Cincinnati, OH (July 6, 2023) - After starting off the season playing more matches than any others in the Valley Division, KHFC now has the fewest matches played and needs to make-up ground to get into the postseason. Sitting middle of the table, KHFC will face Toledo Villa FC who sit just above as both clubs chase Cleveland Force SC for the coveted 2nd place spot in the Valley. Technically, four matches remain for Kings Hammer FC after the last match was postponed due to air quality concerns. The match with Toledo is the first of three home matches to continue the path to postseason.

Kickoff for Friday night's match is at 7:00pm at Xavier University's Cocoran Field. This match will be the second of two matches between Toledo Villa and Kings Hammer, as the first wound up in a thrilling 2-2 draw in Toledo on a Brock Kiper brace capped off in a stoppage time equalizer.

Kings Hammer FC faces their first losing streak in three seasons of play, a two-match streak. And, only one win in the last six matches, KHFC still aim for the top-two spot in the Valley Division. A win on Friday over Toledo will help the Club rebound and get some momentum for Tuesday 7/11 as Fort Wayne FC will come to Cincinnati for the last-of-three matches between the two clubs. Fort Wayne FC has clinched a postseason appearance and have also wrapped up the Valley Division title. 

Kings Hammer FC will play back at home on Tuesday July 11 against Fort Wayne FC. The home schedule will conclude on Friday July 14 against Dayton Dutch Lions FC. Both matches kickoff at 7:00pm. One more match against FC Buffalo could still be played, as that match was postponed on Friday June 30 due to air quality concerns, make-up will likely be after July 14.
