Highland Heights, KY (May 25th, 2024) - Kings Hammer FC’s ladies will be at home for the first time this season as they get ready to slay the competition in their match against Lexington SC. Fans can join us in the stands or tune in on Sports Engine Play as we kickoff at Scudamore Field, Saturday, May 25th at 7:00 p.m..

Lexington SC is coming off a 2-victory hot streak to start their season, both of which were against Valley Division rival St Charles FC. Earlier this week, Kings Hammer FC took a tough 6-1 loss on the road against Racing Louisville FC. With the home field advantage, KHFC looks to secure their first W of the season right here at Scudamore Stadium. 

Alex Kamphaus, KHFC W League Assistant Coach, expanded on how he feels the season has looked for the team so far, saying,

“This first week of games has been a learning experience for everyone. Monday against Indy Eleven, we learned about the grit and determination of the team. Wednesday against Racing, we learned where we needed to be better as a coaching staff."

Looking forward to the women's home opener, Kamphaus said,

"We couldn’t be more excited to finish this first week at home, in front of our friends, family and fans. We’re expecting Lexington to be a strong group with experienced players who will come ready to play.  Expect us to bounce back from Wednesday night and showcase the quality that our players possess.”
