West Carrolton, OH. (May 29, 2024) – For the first time of the 2024 USL League Two season, the KHFC men hit the road to take on Dayton Dutch Lions FC. Just a short trip up I-75, KHFC fans can join in the stands or tune in on Sports Engine Play as we kickoff at 7:00 p.m. at DOC Stadium in West Carrolton.

Kings Hammer FC will look to breakthrough against the Dutch Lions for their first win of the campaign. After an opening draw against Cleveland Force, KHFC suffered a defeat against Fort Wayne SC in their last match. With a week of rest under their belt, KHFC looks to come out aggressive against the Dutch Lions.

In similar fashion, the Dutch Lions will be looking for their first points of the season. Against the same two clubs, DDLFC suffered an opening weekend loss to Fort Wayne as well as a loss to Cleveland Force this past weekend.

Speaking with head coach Paul Nicholson, he knows the importance of setting the tone early in tonight’s match.

 “ It’s very important. Dayton are coming off a close lose to Cleveland and from the game footage we have seen, they’re a strong group. A group that’s going to be contending for playoffs, just like we hope to as well. It’s a big game, it’s really important to get off to a good start and impose ourselves on the match.”
