Highland Heights, KY – Kings Hammer FC’s USL League Two squad returns to the confides of Scudamore Stadium this evening, looking to build off their first win of the season this past Wednesday.

On Wednesday, the KHFC men traveled north on I-75 to take on the Dayton Dutch Lions FC. Playing a compact and disciplined team, KHFC scored the game’s lone goal in the 29th minute with some fantastic passing. After receiving a perfect ball over the top from David Garcia, Henri Kumwenda, burst down the left flank, sending a low cross to the back post where Tyler Murphy was able to slot it home.

Up against Fort Wayne FC for the second time this season, KHFC will be looking for a different result after a tight 1-0 defeat in May. KHFC head coach Paul Nicholson, had this to say ahead of tonight’s match.

“We’re excited for the game. Morale is high in the team from Wednesday win against the Dayton Dutch Lions. The staff were pleased with the performance and we’re looking to take that into this game against Fort Wayne FC. We know they’re a strong team. They haven’t dropped points yet this season, but we’ll be looking to change that tonight.

Kickoff tonight is at 7:00 p.m. at Scudamore Stadium on the campus of Northern Kentucky University. If you are unable to attend tonight’s match, you can stream the match for free HERE.
